| The ideal candidate will have experience in the operational deployment planning and execution of complex technical systems in outdoor and/or remote environments. The candidate will develop concepts of operation, operations and maintenance plans and procedures, and will support the technical development of complex systems from the standpoints of operability, maintainability, packaging, transportation, reliability, availability, special test and deployment equipment, etc. Candidate must interact with development engineering teams to ensure that operational requirements are accommodated in the system design and must work with field teams to accomplish training and operational goals including the definition of roles and responsibilities, skill levels and numbers of personnel required to support system deployment and O&M. Experience with system trade studies, evaluation of operational profiles of equipment, personnel and signatures, and identification and mitigation of operational risk is required. Candidate must interface with development contractors and government project managers. | Candidate should have 5+ years experience in operational planning. BS in a technical field is required. Candidate must have a current SSBI and active SCI clearances, and be willing to complete a full scope polygraph. Infrequent travel may is required; work will be performed in the Chantilly/Reston area. |
