Ms. Shaulis oversees Arion’s corporate financial matters to include short-term and long-term financial planning. She is responsible for the Company’s budgeting and financial forecasting, financial statements, taxes, annual corporate valuation, corporate insurance policies, and monthly contract financial status reports for senior management. Ms. Shaulis is responsible for the Company’s Forward Pricing Rate Proposals, Disclosure Statement, and ensuring the Company’s compliance with the Government Cost Accounting Standards. As additional duties, Ms. Shaulis provides adhoc support to other elements of the Business Operations staff to included administration of contracts and our Affirmative Action Plan.
Prior to joining Arion, Ms. Shaulis was a Senior Business Officer for the University of Southern California for 11 years, where she managed the day-to-day operations of the East Coast Office, to include contracts, financial, operational, and facilities management. Ms. Shaulis also worked for several years as a Financial SETA for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency where she provided financial and contractual support to several Program Managers.

Mr. King oversees Arion’s contract functions and thus has broad responsibilities for drafting contracts and proposals, contract pricing, negotiation, and administration, and management of Government and Company property. Mr. King advises the Company’s President on all contractual matters. His extensive experience in Government contracting has been a valued resource in assisting the Company to comply with the body of federal acquisition regulations, policies, and processes that derive from the Company’s growth.
Mr. King joined Arion in 2007 upon his retirement from the Air Force where he served as contracting officer for over 15 years. His duty assignments as a contracting officer include the following:
- Chief of COMM/SPG Contracts, National Reconnaissance Office,
- Chief, C2ISR Contracts Branch, Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom AFB, MA,
- Administrative Contracting Officer, Defense Contract Management Agency, and
- Contracting Officer, 43rd Airlift Wing, Pope AFB, NC.
The quality of Mr. King’s work has been recognized over the years through awards and decorations to include the Director’s Circle Award from the National Reconnaissance Office.
Lynn C. Beveridge
Director of Accounting and Human Relations

Ms. Beveridge, as the senior member of our business operations staff, oversees the accounting and human relations functions of the Company. As our Director of Accounting, Ms. Beveridge is responsible for implementation, operation, and maintenance of our accounting system, the day-to-day accounting functions, and the annual reporting cycle. She is the Company’s point of contact for all federal and state financial audits. As our Director of Human Relations, Ms. Beveridge manages our benefits program and oversees the Company’s compliance with federal and state employment-related regulations. She is the face of the Company for insuring that our benefits program serves the needs of our employees.
Ms. Beveridge joined Arion in 1995 as our office manager. As the sole member of the administrative staff of our then small company, she is experienced in all facets of the Company’s administration to include contracts, facilities, security, and budgeting. As a long-time observer and participant in the Company’s growth and evolution, her understanding of the Company, its culture, and business operations is unequaled.
Prior to joining Arion, Ms. Beveridge was a program administrator, marketing analyst, and accountant at GTE Spacenet over a period of seven years. As a program administrator, she assisted the program managers in tracking costs and installation schedules. She also worked as accountant in the corporate tax, treasury, and the general ledger departments. At MCI, Ms. Beveridge was an accountant where she supervised a team of accounts payable clerks and worked in the Corporate Tax department.
Director of Security

Mr. Barnes oversees all aspects of Arion’s industrial security program and maintenance of our Company facilities.
Since joining Arion in 2004, Mr. Barnes has drawn on his many years of security experience to satisfy the industrial security requirements of Arion’s broad customer base which includes various components of the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense. He has overseen the construction and performed the security accreditation of Company facilities built to differing standards to include SCIFs, DoD closed areas, and several program specific laboratories. His familiarity with the Certification and Accreditation processes of our diverse customer base expedited the establishment of secure communications and secure network infrastructures in support of these customer’s programs.
Prior to joining Arion, Mr. Barnes held security positions at Sygenex Inc., The Boeing Company, and the United States Marine Corps. As Sygenex’s Director of Security, he established the industrial security program that included responsibilities for facilities in four states and coordinated two successive acquisitions of Sygenex. In the Marine Corps, Mr. Barnes was a security specialist responsible for the Corps’ NATO security program.
Mr. Barnes has received special recognitions for his contributions. These recognitions include various spot and team awards from industry and the Navy Achievement Medal and a recommendation for meritorious promotion from the Marine Corps.
