President’s Open Letter

For the past several years, Arion Systems has participated in an employee survey that explored how employees view their job and the health of the organization. These surveys have provided and continue to provide our management team an opportunity to gain additional insight into how well the company and the management team are performing in our efforts to make Arion Systems an attractive and productive place to work and to help our employees realize their career ambitions. The results of these surveys are the basis of our selection as one of the Washington metropolitan region’s Top Workplaces for the past three years.
These surveys have provided our management team some surprises, some assurances that we are doing some things well, and more importantly some material for helping us improve the workplace. We have been pleased with the level of employee participation in the survey. Typically, 80 – 95 percent of our staff responded to the survey and many made the effort to append hundreds of anonymous comments to each survey. If the body of the survey provided the statistics to WorkplaceDynamics, the comments provide our management team with the important insights that we were seeking. We have taken the liberty to compile a representative set of employee comments that will help you to obtain a better understanding of the company culture that we try to foster.
